Fall of the Star Federation

Fall of the Star Federation is a wargame style RTS, where you will select your fleet and battle the AI, and its our first game! A learning project, we hope you'll get 5 minutes of fun out of the download, and we'll be ecstatic if you get 15!

How to Play

WASD to move the camera, QE rotate

Select units with the mouse or by clicking their icon on the units panel

Right click to issue orders

Units will shoot automatically

Destroy all enemy units to win!

Go to the Select Units page to choose your forces and set the AI options

Go to the Unit viewer to see the ships and their capabilities

Some weapons don't shoot in all directions, make sure your ships face your enemies, and get behind your enemies for an advantage.

 

There's a lot more we'd like to do with the game if we return to it, but in the interest of completion and getting back to our main project, we're calling it done here. We left some lore tidbits in the unit viewer, if they interest you let us know! We're building the world for our long term project, a third person capital ship shooter with extraction shooter and roguelike elements.

 

Known Issues

Units will not turn around if their guns are out of angle

When issuing an order to multiple units they will "pile on" to a location and push each other around
